The Blue Line to Nacka
The Blue Line is being extended from Kungsträdgården to Nacka and Söderort.
What is being built
The Blue Line will start at Kungsträdgården and have two branches. One south via Gullmarsplan and one east to Nacka. New stations at Sickla, Järla and Nacka will comprise additional important public transport hubs. Work on the metro expansion in Nacka was begun in early 2020. The construction work will take 10 years with services expected to be running in 2030.
