    1. Permit application

      The permit application is submitted to the Land and Environment Court. The Land and Environment Court will primarily consider the drainage of groundwater. Noise, vibrations and emissions will also be regulated in the court’s examination.

    2. Additional consultation

      Regarding proposed placement of station building at Sofia station in park Stigbergsparken.

    3. Preparatory work

      Preparatory work begins, for example pipe laying and preparation of business establishment areas.

      Contracts signed with the major contractors to enable them to build the Metro.

      Court decision. The Land and Environment Court primarily considers the drainage of groundwater. Noise, vibrations and emissions to water will also be regulated in the court’s examination.

    2. The railway plan is approved

      The railway plan has been approved by the Transport Administration.

    3. Planned construction start, work tunnels

      In order to construct the metro under ground, work tunnels are required for each station. Work tunnels are constructed prior to construction of track tunnels and stations.
