One branch will continue east to Nacka and the other south, via Gullmarsplan, to Sockenplan where it will connect with the Hags\u00e4tra branch that will become part of the Blue Line. The new stretch will ease the metro services currently passing the northern and southern city centre via T-centralen and Gullmarsplan. This means that the Farsta and Skarpn\u00e4ck branch will see more frequent train services.
