The contract also includes drill-and-blast excavation of station areas for four stations: \u00c4lvsj\u00f6, \u00d6stbergah\u00f6jden, \u00c5rstaf\u00e4ltet and \u00c5rstaberg.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; This will be the single largest contract within the entire metro expansion. We\u2019re talking about between SEK 5.3 and 6.1 billion, says Johan Brantmark, Head of the Metro Extension to \u00c4lvsj\u00f6.<\/p>\n\n<p>Instead of dividing the work into several smaller contracts, a single contractor will be responsible for the entire tunnel and four of the six stations.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; The works are interdependent.
