And he knows what to expect \u2013 because Stefan was one of the first people to start working on the new underground line in spring 2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">48,500 new homes<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\u201cIt\u2019s great that we can benefit from everything we\u2019ve learned over the years. It\u2019s going to be fun to start again from the beginning with studies and consultations\u201d, says Stefan Persson.<\/p>\n<p>The new line will have six stations: Fridhemsplan, Liljeholmen, \u00c5rstaberg, \u00c5rstaf\u00e4ltet, \u00d6stberga and \u00c4lvsj\u00f6. The exact route of the line and the station positions may change during the investigation and consultation periods. According to the contract, the City of Stockholm will build 48,500 new homes close to the new line.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Optimal station positions<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\u201cNow we just need to find the best route for the line.
