Be a part of extending the Stockholm Metro!
The expansion of the metro system is the largest investment in public transport in the Stockholm region since the 1970s. Expanding the Stockholm metro will require many different contractors, for both large, complicated contracts and smaller assignments.
All our projects

Blue Line to Barkarby
The metro’s Blue Line is being extended from Akalla to Barkarby. This expansion provides new travel opportunities and shorter journey times. At the same time, it enables the construction of new housing in Veddesta and Barkarbystaden. For all public transport travelers, Barkarby will become a key hub with multiple modes of transportation.

Blue Line to Nacka and Söderort
The metro’s Blue Line is being extended from Kungsträdgården to Nacka and Söderort. This expansion enables new housing in Nacka and Stockholm while providing more travel opportunities, easing congestion at Slussen, and increasing public transport capacity.

Green Line to Arenastaden
The metro’s Green Line is being extended from Odenplan to Arenastaden. The new branch will have three new stations in Stockholm and Solna. This expansion enables new housing and provides more travel options to some of Stockholm’s fastest-growing districts.

Yellow Line to Älvsjö
The Yellow Line to Älvsjö enables tens of thousands of new homes with sustainable transportation. The line relieves the existing public transport network and makes travel between central and southern Stockholm easier with new convenient transfer points.

Expanded Depot in Högdalen
We are expanding and modernizing the metro depot in Högdalen to accommodate more trains as Stockholm’s metro system grows. A new tunnel is also being built to connect the depot to the metro’s Farsta branch.
