– It is not every day that you are given a project of this scale that allows you to work in this way. It also requires the right people, with the right commitment and expertise. Now we are going to gather the whole team and celebrate together, says Jesper Rännar, Project Manager at Bravida.
The award recognises Bravida’s work in identifying health and safety risks related to both construction and future maintenance already during the design phase.
For example, Bravida’s design team successfully brought together expertise from different disciplines as part of the risk management process. Working collaboratively, they identified health and safety risks using digital design models and drawings. They then developed solutions to eliminate or minimise those risks before they could become issues on site.
According to the jury, the project is: “An exemplary example of proactive risk management and an approach that we would like to see become standard practice in all design projects.”
The award consists of SEK 30,000 to be used for employee welfare and team-building activities.
The other finalists were Skanska, NCC and Rosenqvist Entreprenad.
Bravida is working on behalf of Region Stockholm under the contracts “26640 Electrical, Telecommunications and Control Systems” and “26650 HVAC and Tunnel Ventilation”.
