Introduction

We hope that you had the opportunity to join us on the suppliers’ day in February. This request for information is a follow up on the information given and our next step in our common dialog and will be valuable input in our further works with forming the project.

We invite you to reply to the questions, we will then contact you for separate meeting.

We look forward to your reply and our forthcoming dialog!

Before answering the questions

We ask you to, before answering the questions, familiarize yourself with the presentations from the supplier day on 14 February 2024. Here are the recorded presentations as well as the PDF presentations: Supplier Day 2024

Please answer the questions below and send your answers to upphandling.fut@regionstockholm.se

  1. The administration for Extended Metro has tentatively divided the project into contracts according to the attached plan. The ambition is to offer attractive contracts with homogeneous content and clear, rational interfaces. What are your thoughts on this contract division?

  2. The administration for Extended Metro chooses to design requests for rock and construction work performed with drilling/blasting techniques as execution contracts (AB 04). This applies to access tunnels as well as caverns for the stations, including vertical shafts, platform spaces, and switch sections. In addition to the rockworks in the stations, we intend to add some of the structural concrete works, such as platform, and lower part of mezzanine. Do you consider this relevant?

  3. In the Östberga and Årstafältet stations, built through a shaftsinking method, all rock will be removed vertically through the sinking shafts. This methodology requires clear planning and special equipment. The administration for Extended Metro has the idea of possibly tendering both stations with combinatorics, i.e., bidders have the opportunity to offer a solution for both stations if there are advantages. Is this of interest?

  4. The TBM work is intended to be based on a design and build contract with renumeration based on a geological base line and excavation classes. The cavern for the station included in the TBM contract at Årstaberg is intended to be executed as an embedded construction only contract in the same contract. Do you consider this reasonable and attractive?

  5. For the Fridhemsplan station, there are also thoughts of possibly include subsequent construction-, building- and electro mechanical works to reduce one interface. Do you see any advantages to this combination?
